Sinoextrud’s Founding Story: From Factory to Global Aluminum Extrusion Manufacturer
In 2014, I graduated from college and joined my uncle’s aluminum extrusion factory. As a traditional Chinese aluminum extrusion factory, our business at that time was limited to the domestic market without any export business. At the beginning, I worked as an order follower. These two years of order-following experience exposed me to all aspects of the aluminum profile industry. From opening molds, trying samples, to production, surface treatment, packing, and shipping after customers’ orders, I was personally involved in every step of the process, encountered all kinds of problems, and solved them repeatedly. This period of accumulation gave me a comprehensive understanding of the aluminum profile industry, laying a solid foundation for the eventual establishment of Sinoextrud.

Two years later, I switched to sales and started dealing with clients personally, managing the entire project. These four years in sales allowed me to meet many customers and help them complete projects both large and small. The applications of our aluminum products range from small personal room decoration and background wall installations to major projects, like the Zhongchuan Airport in Gansu, China. Each project fills me with a sense of pride, and I often exclaim that it is truly an honor to see my products become part of a building.
Opportunity to Break into the Foreign Trade Market: The First Foreign Trade Order
In 2020, a foreign trade client came along and changed the trajectory of my career. A college friend introduced me to a customer from South America who had already arrived in Guangzhou. Without hesitation, I traveled to Guangzhou, welcomed the customer, and took them directly to visit our factory. The customer stayed for three days, learning more about our products and production process. Ultimately, they placed an order for 930,000 RMB worth of finished windows and doors, enough to fill two 40-foot containers. This was not only my first export order, but also a significant one, which laid the foundation for my subsequent business.

After receiving the products, the customer praised our quality. From then on, we started a long-term cooperation, and to this day, we are close partners. Every time he visits China, he stops by the factory, and we have become friends. This trust and support not only boosted our business but also strengthened my determination to enter the international market.
From Crisis to Trust: $400,000 Order from a Korean Customer
I have faced many challenges and emergencies in my foreign trade journey, one of the most memorable being a $400,000 order from a Korean customer. This customer had strict time requirements and wanted the first container shipped within a week, providing only samples without the opportunity for proofing confirmation. However, our factory adheres to a rigorous production process, and the customer had to sign to confirm that the samples were acceptable before mass production.

Time was short, but we couldn’t afford to compromise. We managed to open the mold in three to four days, and the sample was ready on the fifth day. To ensure everything went smoothly, my colleagues and I immediately flew to South Korea to present the samples in person. The customer pointed out minor issues, which we promptly addressed. During our three days in Korea, we worked closely with our domestic team to produce a revised sample. The customer was very satisfied with the improvements and signed the confirmation, allowing us to proceed with mass production.

If we had skipped the sample confirmation process and directly started production, it could have led to significant losses. This experience reaffirmed that, no matter how urgent an order, quality and customer satisfaction must always come first.
The Internationalization of Sinoextrud
As our foreign trade business matured, I began to visit customers worldwide. In 2023, I visited Europe, spending half a month meeting many long-term partners whom I had never met in person. This trip not only enriched my life but also strengthened the trust and understanding between my customers and me.

Looking back, I am grateful for my early experiences in sales, which helped me gain invaluable insights and prepared me to face the ever-changing market challenges. Our factory offers quality products at competitive prices, and with growing global demand for aluminum profiles, I founded Sinoextrud to provide high-quality aluminum profile products and solutions to customers worldwide.
Looking to the Future
Over the next five to ten years, I hope to lead Sinoextrud’s team further along the path of internationalization, promoting our products globally and leaving our mark worldwide. Sinoextrud is not just a brand; it’s a platform carrying my dreams and efforts. Every successful project is a testament to teamwork and customer trust.
No matter what challenges lie ahead, I am confident that the quality of our products and services will win us more customers and expand our market. I hope Sinoextrud’s story inspires others like me to pursue their dreams and step onto the global stage.
This is my journey—from a salesman in a local factory to the founder of Sinoextrud—a path filled with challenges, fulfillment, and anticipation. In the future, Sinoextrud will continue to shine in the international market, bringing our quality products to even more customers.
